Additives only enhance a product.
The real protection and performance comes from the quality of the sealcoating. In many cases additives are not necessary. However, they do provide extra benefits and may be required.
We carry 5 different additives and you may have difficulty deciding which one to choose.
Here are our quick rules as to which additive to use. 4 have a measure of all the different benefits but each additive has an outstanding feature. 1 has all the different benefits. |

If you want low cost drying only with no viscosity modification, choose the Macro-Fast® product. |

If you want a viscosity build with drying and increased coating strength, then choose Macro-Flex®. |
| · |
If you want a measure of drying, viscosity build, and coating strength, choose Max-Dri which effectively is like a combination of Macro-Fast® and Macro-Flex®. |

If you want the best in sand suspension along with a curing agent, then choose Diamond Shield. |
| · |
Finally, if you want it all, then choose Advantage-4. |
| Also, in general, the latex additives provide more chemical resistance and flexibility while non latex additives do not clog spray tips as much. |
